Chiropractic Services
Chiropractors are musculoskeletal specialists that treat conditions related to nerves, muscles, and joints.
We treat the body as a whole by using a variety of therapeutic techniques, nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle modification.
Chiropractic Manipulation Therapy
CMT is commonly referred to as adjusting. It involves in placing a gentle force on certain joints of the body to induce movement and restore joint normal biomechanics. Evidence shows that manipulation of the spine can help many patients with low back pain, neck pain, and headaches.
Flexion Distraction
Special table that utilized light motions to treat spinal conditions such as disc herniations, facet syndrome and muscle hypertonicity.
Therapeutic Exercises
Rehabilitative exercise that are prescribed as part of treatment plans to help support the joints and muscles through recovery. These exercises play a crucial role to reestablish control and help the bodies healing process.
Trigger Point Release
Pressure applied to taught muscles to help release muscle fibers, increase blood flow and restore muscle movement.
Myofascial Therapy
Also called muscle stripping, or ART. This technique breaks up fibrotic adhesions within muscle and fascia.
IASTM
Accelerate healing by stimulating cells to produce healthy tissue, using an instrument to “massage” skin and muscles. Can also be used to decrease inflammation and break up fibrotic adhesions
Electronic Stimulation
Electrodes applied to the surface of skin to cause a small current that helps sooth muscles that may be in spasm. This modality can also facilitate body’s natural pain relievers to be released in the muscles.
Ultrasound
Provides deep heating to soft tissues in the body to facilitate faster healing. These tissues include muscles, tendons, joints, and ligaments.
Cold Laser
Certain wavelength causes cells to promote healing and increase cellular energy. Patients usually don’t feel anything but may feel a warm soothing sensation during the treatment. These lasers are cold lasers and do not burn tissue.
Neural Mobilization
Restore the integrity of the nerve tissue by reducing the scar-tissue build-up. Treatment consist of gentle motions of extremities to "floss" the nerve.
Posture Correction
Restore normal joint and muscle loading in the spine and throughout the body. Multifaceted treatment approach with education has been shown to be effective in maintaining good posture. .
Ergonomics
Your daily activity such as driving, job related duties, sleeping positions, and workouts all play a role in the healing process. Education on movement patterns will help maximize the healing process and help return the patient to optimal function.
